The Roma 2000-01 Nakata Home jersey is an iconic piece of Serie A history, representing both AS Roma’s Scudetto-winning season and the global impact of Japanese star Hidetoshi Nakata. Designed by Kappa, this form-fitting deep red jersey features bold orange trim, the INA Assitalia sponsor, and the unmistakable Lupetto badge. Nakata joined Roma mid-season and played a crucial role in one of the most dramatic moments of the campaign—scoring a stunning goal against Juventus and assisting a late equalizer that kept Roma on course for the title. The Roma 2000-01 Nakata Home jersey is a cherished piece for fans who remember that magical season and Nakata’s cultural significance in football.
Collectors and football romantics alike treasure the 2000-01 Nakata Roma Home jersey not only for its historic value but also for its unique place in the sport’s global story. Nakata was a trailblazer, bringing massive attention from Asia to Italian football, and his time in Rome remains unforgettable despite its brevity. This jersey captures the essence of early 2000s calcio—tight silhouettes, fierce rivalries, and moments of brilliance. Whether you’re a supporter of AS Roma, a fan of Nakata, or a vintage kit enthusiast, the Roma 2000-01 Nakata jersey is a must-have symbol of football heritage and international influence.
