Wesley Sneijder spent two seasons at Real Madrid from 2007 to 2009 after joining from Ajax as part of the club’s Dutch revolution under Ramón Calderón. The versatile midfielder made an immediate impact in his debut season, scoring on his La Liga debut and playing a key role in helping Real Madrid win the 2007-08 league title.
