Who is Sun Jinhai?

Sun Jihai is a former Chinese professional footballer who played as a defender for Manchester City from 2002 to 2008. He made 130 appearances for the club and was the first Chinese player to play in the Premier League. During his time at Manchester City, he became a fan favorite and was known for his hard work and dedication on the pitch. He also helped the club win the Division One championship in the 2001-02 season and played a crucial role in their first Premier League campaign in 2002-03.

After leaving Manchester City, Sun Jihai played for Sheffield United before retiring from professional football in 2011.
